A young company, run by people who are not new to this
Jagelo Haulage Limited was incorporated in April 2019. The people who run it have been in container haulage since 2015, so the company was new in 2019 and the work was not.
Since then we have moved more than 75,000 containers, and we move more than 13,000 a year now. Those two numbers say what an adjective cannot: that we have done this at volume, and that we are still doing it. Your box is not an experiment.
We collect from six ports: Felixstowe, London Gateway, Southampton, Tilbury, Purfleet and Liverpool. Felixstowe is the port we work most. London Gateway, Tilbury and Purfleet are planned together as one set of Thames runs, so a forwarder who splits work across the three is still dealing with one haulier.
The yard
The yard is at Bridge Farm, Woolpit, between Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, beside the A14. That road runs east to Felixstowe and west towards Cambridge and the Midlands, and our vehicles start the day on it.

When a week needs more than 40
Some weeks bring more boxes than 40 vehicles can move. Then vetted partner hauliers take the overflow, each on its own operator licence, which is how subcontracting works lawfully and why it never conflicts with the 40 on ours.
Loads we give to a partner carry the same £6,500 per tonne freight liability as loads on our own vehicles. Forwarders subcontract too, and we would rather say so here than have you find out afterwards.

Every haulier says fully licensed and insured. These are the numbers behind ours. The licence and registrations sit on public registers so you can check them. The policy number is the one thing we do not publish: it proves nothing to you and would help anyone pretending to be us.

What the freight liability covers
Freight liability covers our liability as a carrier under RHA 2024 conditions. It is not insurance on the value of the cargo itself, and the difference matters when you work out what a claim would pay.
The RHA standard limit is £1,300 per tonne. Ours is £6,500 per tonne, on our own vehicles and on loads we subcontract. If your freight is worth more than that, say so at quote stage: higher limits up to £10,000 per tonne are available by arrangement for high value freight, and they are arranged before the box moves, not after.
The policy renews on 30 September each year, and the figures on this page are checked against each new schedule.
